In this role, you will join an immediate, high-priority mission supporting the Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) modernization program.

You will be at the forefront of converging next-generation enterprise authoring and dissemination tools. Working within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will handle everything from infrastructure automation to troubleshooting outages, ensuring our critical tech stack delivers maximum impact.

Work Style: On-site with up to 1 day per week of telework flexibility available!

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 (USD) base annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

• Clearance:
  Active Fully-Cleared with Poly.
• Operating Systems:
  Proven experience managing, configuring, and maintaining Linux environments.
• Cloud & Virtualization:
  Strong technical background working with AWS, MASH, and Virtual Machines (VMs).
• Containerization:
  Thorough understanding of Docker and Docker Compose container technology, alongside practical experience with Docker Swarm.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Solid experience utilizing Terraform for scripting and automated VM provisioning.
• Configuration Management:
  Strong proficiency with Ansible scripting and development for environment deployments.
• CI/CD Tools:
  Direct experience managing deployments of distributed web applications utilizing Git Lab CI/CD (or similar enterprise pipelines).
• Version Control:
  Hands-on experience with Git.

• Level: Mid to Senior level.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Systems/Dev Ops Engineer or Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Substitution:
  Four (4) years of additional software/systems experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree (totaling 11 years of experience).

• Scripting & Development:
  Experience with Python scripting and development.
• Data Pipelines & Search:
  Operational knowledge, maintenance, and configuration of NiFi and Elasticsearch.
• Application Troubleshooting:
  Familiarity with Java / Spring Boot to successfully read and troubleshoot error logs.
• Load Balancing & Databases:
  Experience working with HAProxy and managing MongoDB databases.
