Outreach Manager

• Identify and pitch high-authority publications, ratings bodies, databases, and directories used by large language models
• Ensure GEICO’s core entity attributes are accurate and consistent across external sources
• Secure linked and unlinked brand mentions in high-trust third-party consensus sources
• Build and maintain GEICO representation across Reddit, Quora, and industry forums
• Monitor sentiment and factual accuracy and correct misrepresentation through appropriate disclosed channels
• Partner with community outreach and publisher networks to place factual, structured information
• Develop assets, data points, and proof points that make GEICO easy to cite accurately
• Coordinate with Content and Web Development on schema markup, structured data, and on-site entity signals
• Manage GEICO’s presence in Wikidata, business databases, and profile records
• Resolve conflicting or outdated entity data
• Track citation share, share of voice, source-level mention frequency, and sentiment by line of business
• Build recurring readouts connecting outreach activity to AI visibility
• Deliver findings-forward reporting to senior leadership
• Analyze competitors’ citation sources and create a prioritized outreach roadmap
• Manage outreach agency partners, including scope, quality standards, source guardrails, performance reviews, and budget tracking
• Collaborate with SEO, Content Strategy, Brand, Legal, Product, and Corporate Communications
• Build source qualification criteria, pitch frameworks, outreach tracking, escalation paths, and scalable playbooks
• Report to the Director of Marketing Strategy, SEO

• 6+ years in SEO, off-page SEO, earned media or link acquisition
• Demonstrable record of securing placements in high-authority publications
• Working understanding of how large language models retrieve, ground, and cite sources
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation and citation behavior across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews
• Practical experience managing brand entity data across structured sources
• Understanding of how entity consistency affects machine interpretation
• Comfortable reading and specifying schema.org structured data
• Ability to evaluate whether a page is machine-readable
• Experience with AI visibility measurement platforms such as Profound, Google Search Console, and GA4
• Ability to build a defensible measurement narrative and distinguish correlation from causation
• Experience operating within legal, compliance, or brand review processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage agency partners to defined outcomes
• Ability to translate technical AI search concepts into clear business framing for senior stakeholders
• Ability to write concisely and precisely under scrutiny
• Ability to manage concurrent outreach campaigns and reporting cycles
• Proactive mindset and adaptability as model behavior changes
• Must not require new employment authorization sponsorship
