Operations Research Analyst position.

Position

Required Skills:

• Experience conducting problem definition and gathering data requirements from stakeholders
• Oral and written communications skills to explain data analysis to stakeholders
• PANDAS, R, Excel and VBA, ARENA, OCTAVE, Tableau, Gurobi and CPLEX, EXTENDSIM, SAS, NETICA, stats models, Stata, MATLAB, or SPSS

Position Desired

Skills:

• Experience with developing and performing verification and validation of models to ensure adequacy
• Experience developing and delivering training materials for operations research techniques
• Experience briefing results and preparing written reports on analytic approaches and methodologies
• Experience with the use of machine learning and large language models to solve complex problems
• Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field

ORA2

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with conducting analysis of management and operational problems using operations research techniques

4+ years of experience with the application of modeling and simulation to address decision analysis problems

4+ years of experience conducting multiple objective decision analysis or cost benefit analysis in support of research objectives

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field

Salary Range: $216k-$264k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation, salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
