Administrator ; Community Resilience Coordinator

The Community Resilience Coordinator is an Administrator I position within the Center for Resilient Communities and Landscapes Program that provides strategic outreach, capacity building, and technical assistance to local governments, community partners, and non-profits across Maryland, with emphasis on overburdened and underserved areas. The role involves coordinating meetings and site visits, managing state and federal grants, planning community events, and helping diverse communities develop skills for environmental restoration and resilience projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent; four years of administrative or professional work experience (or equivalent education/military service substitutions)
• 2-4 years of work with local governments or non-profits managing projects and/or grants
• Experience or background working with communities, networks, and non-profit organizations in natural resource management with cultural competence
• Ability to operate state vehicles and travel during regular and non-standard business hours
• Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license
