Nurse Manager – Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care

Location: Baltimore County, Maryland

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting. The ideal candidate is a personable, hands‑on leader who communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff and leads by example.

• Lead and mentor the nursing team, including the Assistant Nurse Manager and frontline staff.
• Oversee daily nursing operations, staffing, workflows, and patient care.
• Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, CARF, and National Patient Safety Goals

• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care.
• Support fiscal responsibility and efficient department operations.

• Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program
  .
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• 5–7 years of nursing experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation.
• 2+ years of leadership, charge, supervisory, or Assistant Nurse Manager experience.
• Active Maryland RN license.
• BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Strong clinical knowledge of geriatric, subacute, rehabilitation, or memory care
  .
• Previous rehabilitation experience preferred/required

• Experience managing nursing teams in LTC, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation environments.
