Medical Director – Veterinary Specialty Hospital Roseville (Emergency-Only Hospital)

Ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? VSH Roseville is seeking a Medical Director to lead our emergency team and help shape the future of our growing hospital. As Medical Director, you’ll play a key role in supporting a high-performing team, promoting clinical excellence, and fostering a collaborative, compassionate environment. With a brand-new 21,000 sq ft hospital and continued growth ahead, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a modern, ER-focused facility.

• Leadership position with the opportunity to guide clinical development, culture, and hospital growth
• Competitive compensation around ~$200,000 annually (plus production)
• Medical Director stipend $25,000- 35,000 in addition to base salary and production
• Generous sign-on bonus and relocation support
• Truly flexible scheduling with dedicated administrative time built in
• Incentives available for overnight or additional clinical shifts if desired
• Supported by a collaborative team of experienced ER doctors and technicians

• Provide medical leadership and mentorship across the ER team
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to uphold clinical standards and team wellbeing
• Foster a positive, communicative, and growth-minded culture
• Help support recruitment and development efforts as the hospital continues to expand

• We recently opened our new, 21,000 sq ft hospital, featuring:
• A large ICU with space for 40+ patients
• Advanced diagnostic capabilities including CT
• A team of dedicated emergency veterinarians and skilled technicians
• A strong culture of support, collaboration, and continuous improvement
