Full-Time Retail Associate - Maryland Store Locations

Job Type: Full-time

Menchey Music is the area's largest family-owned music company, and we are looking for bright individuals to join our retail sales team as a full- or part-time employee. If you have a passion for music and helping others on their musical journey, we would love to speak with you today!

These positions are year-round positions. They are not seasonal or summer-only positions.

• Work directly with customers in-person, via phone, and through e-mail to meet their musical needs.
• Rent band, orchestra, and other instruments, accessible to everyone.
• Enroll new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and find solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Open and close the store according to policies.
• Handle cash and perform daily balancing of the cash drawer.
• Receive training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to play a musical instrument
• General knowledge of musical instruments and written music

Preferred Experience: Previous retail or sales experience
