Role DescriptionThe Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bowie, MD. This role oversees case management staff, ensures compliance with agency policies and state regulations, and supports the delivery of high‑quality services to individuals with complex medical and social needs. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supervising and coaching team members, reviewing service plans and documentation, coordinating with families and community providers, and monitoring caseloads to ensure timely and effective support.
The Supervisor will help resolve client issues, participate in team meetings, support performance evaluations, and contribute to process improvements that enhance client outcomes and staff efficiency. This position also collaborates with leadership to implement program initiatives and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Experience in supervision or team leadership within human services, social work, case management, or a related field.
- Strong skills in client service, advocacy, and community resource coordination, especially for individuals with complex medical or social needs.
- Proficiency in documentation, caseload management, and regulatory compliance within healthcare or social services settings.
- Effective communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and case management software or electronic records systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Nursing, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Knowledge of Maryland community resources and service systems is highly beneficial.
