Agile Developer L3 - Workflow Intent

Description

Responsible for full stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Java, JavaScript frameworks (React), Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern data stores (No
  
  SQL, Relational, Object).

• Familiar with spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger and AWS managed services. System requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, and Agile methodology. Familiar with FOSS & GOTS.

  Experience:
  
  Shall have one (1) year demonstrated work experience with full stack development; front-end, API and backing data stores. Demonstrated work experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12‑Factor applications, serialization such as JSON and/or BSON and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

$200,000 – $210,000 (Annually). Annual compensation figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
