- Reporting to the Leadership Team, this role will work to support field and internal operations smoothly
- Support Human Resources with onboarding, people and time reporting, and other administrative tasks
- Coordinate safety compliance — Track OSHA requirements, manage safety equipment inventory, facilitate certifications and training
- Handle insurance documentation — Process certificates of insurance, track project-specific requirements, coordinate with insurance eligibility
- Manage equipment and fleet logistics — Coordinate tool and equipment deployment, track maintenance schedules, solve logistics issues
- Support project operations — Work directly with the Project Controller on operational coordination, reporting, and internal communications
- Provide administrative support to ownership — Manage travel logistics, calendar coordination, and executive-level administrative tasks
- Bridge field and office — Translate field needs into office actions and vice versa
Experience That Counts:
- 3-5 years administrative, operations, or project coordination experience
- Construction, electrical, or industrial environment experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish HIGHLY preferred — you will communicate daily with Spanish‑speaking field crews
- Experience managing multi‑state compliance or licensing is a major plus
- Proven track record staying organized under pressure with multiple competing priorities
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Experience with Quick Books, construction management software, or project tracking systems preferred
- Comfortable learning new software quickly — Fieldwire, Procore, compliance platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑through on deadlines and commitments
- You anticipate problems before they happen and solve them proactively
- Strong communicator who can translate between field crews and office operations
- Self‑starter who doesn’t need constant oversight — you see what needs doing and do it
- Adaptable — construction schedules shift, priorities change, and you handle it
- Professional presence — you represent Dotson in interactions with vendors, brokers, and licensing agencies
- Team player who understands your role is to make other people’s jobs easier
- Compensation & Benefits: $60,000–$65,000 based on experience | Health insurance, PTO, paid holidays
