Hours of Job

• Part time, 20 hours per week.
• Hours vary from 5:15 a.m.
  
  - 1:45 p.m., 6:15 a.m.
  
  - 6:15 p.m., 8:15 a.m.
  
  - 4:45 p.m.
• Weekend Rotation is required.

Duties and

Key Responsibilities

• Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre‑admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, family or visitors, serving as entity resource.
• Registers inpatient and outpatient when needed.
• In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly.
• Checks and rechecks all paperwork before it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy.

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous Admitting/Registration experience required.
• Knowledge of medical insurances preferred.
