Operations Analyst
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000-$80,000. The salary is a general guideline only and will be adjusted based on position, responsibilities, experience, education, training, and skills.

About the Role:
This position falls under Sawdey MSD’s Managed Services Division. The Operations Analyst will support client relationships from an operational and financial perspective, providing analytical support, procurement, invoices, and business‑development assistance.
- Reconcile client agreements and invoices with user, workstation, license, and other counts.
- Obtain quotes from vendors/distributors and order equipment and licences for clients and Sawdey.
- Prepare sales and purchase orders related to clients and Sawdey.
- Assist with client invoices and invoice emails, and draft new MSD contracts and modifications.
- Perform analysis of resources and time needed to support clients.
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis, including profitability, resource estimation, and projections.
- Review, approve, and manage Sawdey MSD employee time entries and timecards.
- Train staff on time entry, timecards, and operational procedures.
- Reconcile and allocate MSD expenditures.
- Support business‑development activities such as pricing, proposal preparation, and prospective client outreach.
- Respond to requests for quote/bid.
- Maintain records and SharePoint sites.
- Assist with vendor, partner, and client billing.
- Support risk‑management processes, including vendor due diligence.
- Prepare internal and external briefs.
- Evaluate and recommend AI‑driven operational optimisations.
- Support project‑management related activities.
- Assist with asset and inventory management for Sawdey and clients.
- Handle incoming client or vendor calls.
- Assist with interviewing MSD Operations Team candidates.
- Oversee MSD Operations interns and mentor team members.
- Adhere to CMMC requirements.
- Contribute to proposal development as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Zero to six years in finance, operational analysis, program management, procurement, or related field.
- If zero years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field is required.
- Preferred experience:
reviewing time entries and timecards. - Preferred experience:
using Excel and pivot tables for financial analysis. - Preferred experience:
vendor/distributor interactions and payments. - Preferred experience:
reconciling expense purchases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Operations, or related field highly preferred; required if zero years of experience.
- Effective communication with customers and fulfillment of all duties outlined in contract.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Collaboration with corporate employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional manner.
- Accurate daily time entry for all tasks.
- Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Participation in an on‑call rotation.
- Use of personal smartphone for job‑related tasks as needed (calls are made via Microsoft Teams extension).
- Must pass a favorable background check.
