Overview
Tremco Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of products for the construction and new building maintenance markets and a fast-growing division of RPM. Our Weatherproofing Technologies Division currently seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial construction projects to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Maintain jobsite safety and resolve project issues and problems.
- Schedule and coordinate between subcontractors and owner operations.
- Ensure quality and that specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards.
- Manage project costs and generate reports on project status.
- Ensure owner satisfaction.
- Participate in development and enforcement of jobsite safety plans, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the aforementioned projects.
- Provide Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.
- Interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management; keep project records.
- Travel as required.
- 5-10 years' experience in commercial construction or 5 years as a foreman.
- Core understanding of general building standards knowledge, scheduling, and shop drawing review.
- OSHA 10 Hour Certification is required.
- Deep understanding of all Construction Management tasks, superintendent roles & responsibilities, communications; superior written, oral, and digital communication skills; ability to create performance reporting.
- Computer literacy:
Email, web, MS Word, and MS Excel.
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
