Photographer – Underwater & Macro Specialist; Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled and creative part-time Photographer with experience in underwater and macro photography to join our team. Your primary focus will be capturing high-quality images of our aquatic livestock, including corals and marine species, to showcase their beauty and detail. The ideal candidate will have experience photographing underwater subjects and macro shots, with the ability to work with provided equipment to produce sharp, vivid images that represent our products in the best light.

In addition to capturing stunning photos, you will be responsible for editing your work in Adobe Photoshop to ensure each image is polished and ready for use across our marketing channels, website, and promotional materials. Strong photo editing skills are a must, as you will be adjusting lighting, color balance, and other aspects to maintain a consistent visual aesthetic. Attention to detail and a solid understanding of marine life photography will be key to excelling in this role.

This could be an ideal position for a photography student with a flexible schedule, offering hands-on experience in a unique niche. We ask that candidates provide a portfolio showcasing their previous photography work, particularly any underwater or macro shots. This position requires the individual to have a form of reliable transportation as you’ll be between several of our Central Kentucky locations, including breeding facilities, warehouses and retail stores.
