Work schedules are based on the seasonal event calendar. Employees are expected to work a minimum of two days per week. Availability for weekend shifts is required. Compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, based on relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications.
DESCRIPTIONThe NCM Motorsports Park (MSP)
Emergency Services Coordinator oversees the administrative management of fire and rescue, and medical services at NCM Motorsports Park and performs hands on fire and rescue services as needed. This part time role ensures that all safety assets, procedures, and personnel are in place and properly scheduled in advance of events. Responsibilities include scheduling teams, conducting vehicle checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate all fire and rescue, and medical services for NCM Motorsports Park events, ensuring all safety measures and standard operating procedures are in place.
- Organize and schedule fire and rescue, and medical services personnel, ensuring proper coverage for each event.
- Oversee regular checks on fire and rescue vehicles and equipment, maintaining logs and ensuring readiness.
- Ensure all operations related to fire and rescue adhere to local, state, and national safety regulations.
- Keep detailed records of all equipment and vehicle inspections and track incidents.
- Keep certification records of fire and rescue, and medical services staff, and ensure certifications stay up to date.
- Perform hands on fire and rescue services as needed and/or as scheduled.
- Assist MSP Track Operations General Manager in managing budgets and tracking expenses related to fire and rescue, and medical services.
- Assist MSP Track Operations General Manager in developing and maintaining best practices and SOP’s related to fire and rescue operations at the NCM Motorsports Park.
- Responsibilities are not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned.
- Minimum of five years of administrative experience in fire, rescue, or medical operations, preferably in motorsports or events.
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- KBEMS EMT certification preferred.
- Knowledge of fire and rescue vehicles and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand outdoors, for extended periods of time, in varying weather conditions.
