Graphic Design Student Worker

Position within the Office of Marketing and Communications, a support unit for the College of Veterinary Medicine. Main responsibility: create digital and print designs for various units within CVM. Offer opportunity to build portfolio and gain practical experience in an in‑house marketing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design digital and print materials such as brochures, booklets, digital display signs, etc., using UGA and CVM visual identity and branding guidelines; occasionally print and prepare materials as needed (80% time).
  • Assist with office work such as scanning, filing media clips and photos (15% time).
  • Perform other duties as assigned (5% time).

Working hours:

10–15 hours per week during regular business hours; flexible scheduling around class timings and deadlines.

Minimum qualifications:

UGA student studying graphic design and/or marketing.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva.
  • Creative thinking and multi‑tasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of UGA brand a plus.
Physical Demands & Other
  • No position of trust.
  • No access to financial resources.
  • No P‑Card required.
  • No driving requirement.
  • No direct interaction with children under 18 or patient care.
  • No security access.
