Job Description

Principle duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Articulates transcripts and advises potential applicants for the LPN to ASN program.
  • Maintains, reviews, and tracks all student academic and health records associated with the assigned program.
  • Reviews student health records and sends annual reminders to students when CPR, TB testing or other information must be updated.
  • Processes and tracks student admissions materials and health records (Drug screens, Background checks, medical forms, CPR, immunizations, titers) for students.
  • Provides clerical support to faculty.
  • Sends out program information to prospective students.
  • Facilitates office communication.
  • Changes majors and assigns faculty advisors.
  • Monitors progression and assists with course registration for students.
  • Initiates, reviews, and revises Schedule Bulletin of courses offered each term.
  • Schedules meetings and events in Astra.
Technical and Data Management
  • Responsible for student and faculty data entry, tracking, and reporting to state boards and accrediting agencies.
  • Provides administrative support for admissions by developing excel spreadsheets with all needed data on each student.
  • Maintains School of Nursing and Allied Health website for assigned program.
  • Provides basic computer support for office-related software questions as needed.
Other Duties
  • Assists with recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Assists with planning and implementation of School of Nursing and Allied Health events.
  • Provides student support and advisement.
  • Provides tours and guidance for potential students and their families.
  • Records minutes for committee meetings as assigned.
  • Maintains office equipment and orders supplies.
South Campus Support
  • Submits facilities requests.
  • Orders key access for faculty.
  • Schedules rooms as needed.
  • Picks up delivery packages made to unit offices.
  • Prepares meeting rooms, assists with organization, takes notes during meetings.
  • Other assignments as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of clerical/office related experience.
  • Computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills.
  • Proficient with a variety of office equipment.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Capable of extended periods of computer concentration.
Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $17.44
