Position Title
ECE Instructional Assistant (MSD) – Kennedy Elementary School (2026‑2027) – Start Time 9:40
LocationKennedy Elementary
SalaryGrade 1A, Grade 4 (salary schedule attached).
Salary Range: $18.27/hr – $20.07/hr.
Stipends: Critical Need $3.50/hr and ECE Instructional Assistant $1.00/hr.
187 days per year, 7 hours per day.
Scope of Responsibilities- Assist with the implementation of each student's individualized education plan.
- Help establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment.
- Display willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the Kentucky Para educator Exam (KPA) or 48 college semester hours.
- Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- Physical ability to assist with students’ physical needs such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
- Willingness to attend district ECE in‑service professional development sessions.
