Job DescriptionECE Instructional Assistant for the school year. Provide support in Exceptional Child Education (ECE) classrooms for students with a range of disabilities. Pay range $18.27/hr – $20.07/hr with critical‑need stipend $3.50/hr and ECE stipend $1.00/hr work calendar: 187 days, 7 hours per day.
Scope of Responsibilities- Assist in implementing each student’s individualized education plan.
- Help establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment.
- Display willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Passing score on the Kentucky Para educator Exam (KPA) or 48 college semester hours.
- Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
- Physical ability and willingness to assist with students’ physical needs such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
- Willingness to attend district ECE in‑service professional development.
