College Work Study Student – Academic Advising Department – Summer 2026

Salary: $28,000 per year ($14 per hour)

This office assists students with choosing courses, declaring majors, enrolling, and answering general academic questions.

Assist our students and staff by completing the following duties:

• Answering and transferring calls on a multi‑line phone system
• Retrieving and responding to voicemails
• Filing paperwork, data entry, and archiving old files
• Assisting walk‑in students
• Managing appointments
• Participating and assisting in campus events
• Managing/assisting with social media accounts (as needed)
• Additional duties as assigned

Work experience in this department supports the following degree/certificate programs:
Education‑AA, Business‑AB.

• Friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn
• Understanding of diverse multicultural environments
• Good communication and ability to follow directions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CSN student systems
• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
