The Intervention Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the success of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other relevant meetings.
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in special education.

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Experience with a variety of instructional strategies and interventions.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and other resources for students with disabilities.
• Familiarity with Ohio state education standards and regulations.
