Saint Raphael School is seeking a dedicated, caring, and energetic Full-Time Kindergarten Aide to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting our mission of academic excellence and faith formation.

Position Overview

The Kindergarten Aide will work closely with our three kindergarten teachers to support student learning and classroom operations. This individual will play an important role in creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for students while assisting teachers with instructional and organizational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the three kindergarten teachers with daily classroom activities and instructional support.
  • Providing in‑class interventions and academic support to individual students and small groups.
  • Preparing and organizing educational materials, classroom resources, and instructional activities for both the Kindergarten and Fifth Grade classrooms.
  • Monitoring students during lunch and recess periods to ensure a safe and positive environment.
  • Supervising students during transitions and other school activities as assigned.
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining an organized learning environment.
  • Supporting teachers with clerical and organizational tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrating professionalism and serving as a positive role model for students.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
  • Organized, dependable, and flexible.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Catholic education.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and diocesan safe environment requirements.
