** St. Joan of Arc School**, located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is seeking a faith-filled, dynamic educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year.

This departmentalized position includes teaching Science to students in Grades 6–8, while also serving as the 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher, teaching Religion and Reading.

** Position Responsibilities
** Teach Science to students in Grades 6, 7, and 8.  Serve as the 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher.  Teach Religion and Reading to the 8th grade homeroom class.  Foster a classroom environment rooted in Catholic values and academic excellence.  Collaborate with faculty, families, and administration to support each student's growth in learning, leadership, and faith.
** We're Looking for Someone Who...
** Demonstrates a strong foundation in the Catholic faith and intentionally integrates faith into daily instruction and classroom culture.  Possesses a strong understanding of middle school science curriculum standards and delivers engaging, age-appropriate instruction that promotes deep conceptual understanding.  Has professional development and demonstrated knowledge of the Science of Reading.  Differentiates instruction effectively through remediation, enrichment, and tiered instructional strategies.  Builds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.  

Is committed to helping students learn, lead, and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Qualifications  
** Required
* * Valid Ohio Teaching License (K–8 or 4–9), or the ability to obtain one.  Practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education.  Basic Catechist Certification or willingness to obtain certification.  Successful completion of FBI/BCI background checks.  Completion of VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training.
