Project Manager, Operations Manager

What You’ll Do

• Manage multiple projects through all stages of product and process development
  • R&D, APQP, sampling and prototyping, launch, complex process improvement, and tooling projects
• Plan and execute projects, including defining requirements, developing schedules, resource planning, product and project cost control, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Develop detailed project and resource plans across multiple engineering projects within the portfolio and dynamically track projects’ progress across the portfolio.
• Host project team meetings, track project progress, identify critical path tasks, and prepare and make presentations on project status regularly and as required.
• Remote and local coordination with internal and external stakeholders at multiple locations around the globe to ensure that the project deliverables meet the plan.
• Coordinate within project teams across all functions, including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and other support functions.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to federal regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project/program management.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience with handling multiple aspects of project management, including coordination both within the organization and with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Expert knowledge of principles of project management and the stage-gate decision-making process.
• Expert knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement activities relating to engineering and other business processes.
• Familiarity with modern ERP and document control systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite software, including Excel and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in writing reports, business correspondence, and deploying standardized work practices.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers across the organization, clients, customers, and others.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.

• Experience with in a manufacturing environment and APQP is preferred.
• Experience with other resource planning and project planning, and execution software is desired.
• Experience with statistical and uncertainty analysis is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in being able to work in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional teams.
