We are seeking a senior finance leader to partner with manufacturing operations at a high-volume production facility. This role serves as the primary financial business partner to site leadership, providing insight, governance, and strategic guidance to drive operational performance, cost control, and financial accuracy.
The position leads on-site finance activities and supports decision-making across operations, supply chain, and engineering, while collaborating closely with corporate finance partners.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the senior finance partner for site leadership, supporting operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Lead all site‑level financial activities, including general accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and headcount forecasts; monitor performance and analyze variances.
- Drive accurate product costing and margin analysis; support productivity initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide financial leadership for capital investments, make‑or‑buy decisions, and new product or process initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Lead and develop a local finance team, fostering strong business partnership across functional groups.
- Partner with operations to identify cost drivers, loss opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning, tracking, and depreciation forecasting.
- Support enterprise risk management and internal audit requirements in coordination with corporate partners.
- Deliver forward‑looking financial analysis to support long‑term planning and site strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to influence across functions.
- Experience supporting plant or operations leadership in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required.
- Six Sigma or Lean experience a plus.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable operational insights.
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage change.
- High level of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; financial systems proficiency required.
