We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Compliance Controls & Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing Compliance team in Athens. In this role, you'll contribute to the enhancement of compliance monitoring, quality assurance, governance, and risk assessment activities across an international payments environment, helping ensure the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.

- Conduct reviews focusing on high‑risk sectors, business activities, and emerging compliance risks
- Review and assess Corporate Governance frameworks, controls, and related processes
- Support Enterprise‑Wide Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and Counter‑Terrorist Financing (CTF) Risk Assessments
- Participate in compliance monitoring and quality assurance reviews across multiple jurisdictions
- Support the delivery of Compliance‑related projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the PMO function
- Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance and compliance frameworks
- Prepare reports, findings, and recommendations for management and key stakeholders
- Contribute to maintaining a strong compliance culture across the organization
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Quality Assurance, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, or Consulting
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Previous exposure to project coordination or PMO-related activities
- Working knowledge of the Greek AML/CTF regulatory framework
- Interest and/or professional exposure to the payments, fintech, banking, or financial services sector
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek, both written and spoken
- Eligibility to work in the EU on a full-time permanent basis without employer sponsorship
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and geographically dispersed teams
- A proactive, professional, and results‑driven mindset
