Provide patient care in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy setting. Provide compounding, dispensing, medication safety reviews, and inventory management while ensuring excellent customer service. Must cover on‑call and weekend shifts across all Ambulatory Retail Pharmacy locations.
Responsibilities- Review and interpret prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate therapy and detect drug interactions.
- Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies as per written orders.
- Manage inventory and supervise technician staff to deliver high‑quality service.
- Cover shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability for overnight coverage at 24‑hour locations.
- Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and maintain licensure in Kentucky.
- BS or Pharm
D in Pharmacy. - Licensed pharmacist in Kentucky on day one of employment; license must be maintained throughout tenure.
- 0 years of related experience required (experience preferred).
- Ability to stand >5 hours, lift up to 30 pounds, reach above shoulder level.
- Excellent attention to detail, customer service, teamwork, communication, and punctuality.
- Proficiency in English.
- Preferred:
Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy experience, Pharm
D/BS eligible for KY license.
