Job Summary
The Clinical Dietitian is the medical nutrition expert responsible for independently planning, developing & directing all nutritional care activities for Nutrition & Food Services at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital & Clinics in Madison, WI. The clinical dietitian will provide primarily inpatient nutrition services and will be cross trained in outpatient to provide coverage for individual visits and group classes.
ResponsibilitiesThis employee serves as the Dietitian (Clinical) within the Clinical Section of Nutrition & Food Service. This individual will perform increasingly complex tasks as they acquire skills in clinical nutrition to apply evidenced-based nutrition practice guidelines. Clinical Dietitians coordinate nutritional care of Veterans with other health care providers, the Veteran's caregiver and the community.
Qualifications- Preferred Experience:
RD/RDN certification
