Data Solutions Architect

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the design and definition of complex IT data-driven solutions based on customer requirements and product provided services.

You will examine functional and technical specifications, shape technology solutions and influence technology choices and decisions to meet the challenges faced by our clients.

• Design and architect end-to-end data and AI solutions across Azure or hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Design, implement and govern scalable data architectures for AI-driven services and analytics platforms.
• Define and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, including data models, data flows, metadata management, and integration architectures.
• Design modern data platforms supporting structured and unstructured data, leveraging data lakes, lake houses and warehouses.
• Lead the design of data storage, ingestion, transformation, and serving layers.
• Collaborate with business, development and data teams to define the cloud architecture of AI solutions and machine learning models (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision).
• Oversee the integration of various Azure services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable data readiness for training, validation, and deployment of models.
• Enable and promote the use of metadata management, data cataloging, and master data management (MDM).
• Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are understood and met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and junior members of the team.
• Create and maintain technical documents describing the data platforms’ architecture and its infrastructure.

We would like you to have:

• A University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in solution/data architecture, with strong expertise in AI, data engineering and cloud technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure ML, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions).
• Strong experience with data lake/data warehouse design, metadata management, and ETL/ELT architectures.
• Expertise in Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks).
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, capable of communicating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and willingness to work in an international environment.
