Description:

Arhaus is undergoing a significant transformation to modernize its commerce technology landscape, including the implementation of a new ERP, Order Management System (OMS), and next-generation in-store and digital commerce platforms.

The Commerce Program Manager / Product Manager serves as a key technology and business partner, responsible for bridging business requirements with system capabilities across multiple transformation programs. This role will lead product ownership, requirements definition, and strategic alignment across commerce platforms, while managing a portfolio of internal applications that support Arhaus’s evolving omnichannel experience.

This role is focused on delivering scalable, business-aligned commerce technology solutions across a complex transformation landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

Commerce Platform Evaluation & Gap Analysis
  • Evaluate ERP, OMS, and eCommerce platform capabilities, including out-of-box functionality, workflows, and constraints
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for adoption, customization, or process improvement
  • Document findings in clear, business-friendly formats to support decision-making and alignment
Requirements Definition & Product Ownership
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (eCommerce, Store Operations, Trade, Finance) to gather and prioritize requirements
  • Translate business needs into structured documentation, including BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment between business priorities and delivery outcomes
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions and prioritize work to maximize value delivery
  • Serve as the primary product and requirements lead for system integrator (SI) partners across ERP, OMS, and digital commerce initiatives
  • Review proposed solutions and configurations to ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Support cross-program coordination, ensuring consistency across systems and minimizing downstream risks
  • Represent commerce and eCommerce priorities in cross-functional program discussions
  • Define and maintain the commerce technology roadmap, including current initiatives and future capabilities
  • Identify gaps, prioritize enhancements, and build business cases for investment
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on how commerce technology can enable growth across eCommerce, B2B, and omnichannel channels
  • Establish scalable product management practices across the organization
Internal Application Ownership
  • Manage the lifecycle of internally developed commerce applications used for website management and product customization
  • Partner with business and engineering teams to prioritize enhancements and ensure alignment with evolving platform capabilities
  • Balance ongoing support needs with strategic transformation initiatives
  • Ensure seamless integration with ERP, OMS, and eCommerce systems
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
  • Provide clear, consistent communication on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery timelines
  • Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities with structure and transparency
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis within commerce or retail technology environments
  • Experience evaluating enterprise commerce platforms and mapping out-of-box capabilities to business requirements
  • Experience working with system integrators on ERP, OMS, or eCommerce implementations
  • Strong experience writing BRDs, user stories, and requirements documentation
  • Deep understanding of commerce domains including order management, product catalog, pricing, promotions, and customer experience workflows
