Job Summary
Responsible for providing entry-level IT support for incidents and service requests. Follows established procedures to resolve routine technical issues and elevate more complex problems. Gains foundational experience in service desk operations while delivering courteous and timely customer service.
Essential Functions- Responds to incoming calls, tickets, and requests, following approved scripts and procedures.
- Resolves basic technical issues related to endpoint devices, passwords, logins, printers, and standard applications.
- Escalates incidents outside scope to higher-level analysts with detailed documentation.
- Records accurate information and updates work status in ITSM tools.
- Provides clear and courteous communication to end users regarding request status and resolutions.
- Assists with setup of end-user accounts and basic software installations.
- Participates in required training and skill development activities.
- Follows IT policies, security standards, and organizational guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement: 0‑2 years of experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

This position requires regular sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with intermittent repetitive motion (such as typing); and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds, as well as lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
