Scrum Master

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for a single scrum team within Ontada’s Technology Solutions portfolio
• Establish and operate sprint cadence, backlog readiness, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release coordination
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives
• Coach the Product Owner and team on scope, sizing, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria
• Define sprint and release scope based on product prioritization and engineering capacity
• Lead integrated planning across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management
• Manage release capacity planning, estimation, sequencing, and delivery tracking
• Ensure epics and stories meet functional and non-functional requirements and approved acceptance criteria
• Manage delivery risks, constraints, dependencies, milestone tracking, and reporting
• Maintain Jira and Plain View updates, Definition of Ready/Done, runbooks, and team time tracking
• Lead non-production WAR/MIM rooms for time-sensitive issues
• Serve as liaison among Product Owners, Development Teams, and external stakeholders
• Provide executive communication on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Facilitate governance forums, milestone reviews, and executive checkpoints
• Manage cross-team dependencies and compliance artifacts, including Release Scope Statements, SCRs, and Service Now change requests
• Lead risk identification and mitigation using ROAM or equivalent practices
• Coordinate QA, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing readiness and execution
• Drive defect prioritization, closure, and root cause analysis
• Coach and mentor scrum teams on agile practices, ADLC maturity, and enterprise delivery standards
• Use delivery metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to identify systemic improvements
• Contribute to Ontada’s Agile Delivery Lifecycle and enterprise delivery practices

• Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
• 3–5 years of experience leading large-scale agile delivery for complex technology initiatives
• Consulting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in Scrum Master, Project Manager, or hybrid delivery leadership roles
• Ability to manage a scrum team, dependencies, and stakeholders in fast-paced, regulated environments
• Strong executive communication skills with Directors, VPs, and senior leaders
• Expert experience managing scope, timelines, and delivery commitments
• Understanding of technical architecture and product roadmaps
• Experience enabling CI/CD, Dev Ops, automated testing, and code quality standards
• Experience with web, cloud, APIs, and microservices
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools
• Deep knowledge of Scrum framework, roles, ceremonies, artifacts, and principles
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification from a recognized industry organization
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time without employer immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future

Demonstrates expertise in leading agile delivery for complex technology initiatives, with a strong focus on managing scrum teams, stakeholder communication, and delivery metrics. Proficient in utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence to facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure compliance with enterprise delivery standards.
