Director of Manufacturing Planning and OE

Are you a proven supply chain and lean leader who thrives in a high-volume, precision manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing Planning and OE to lead planning, internal logistics, tactical purchasing, industrial engineering and Lean stratagies for a world-class manufacturing operation.

This is a high-impact, visible role with direct influence on operational performance, production flow, and the long-term deployment of a lean management system across the facility.

What You'll Do Lead end-to-end supply chain and materials operations, including:
  • Production planning and capacity management using SAP
  • SIOP process development and optimization
  • Tactical purchasing, inventory management, and order management
  • Internal logistics and warehouse operations
  • New product introduction support and BOM/routing accuracy
Drive the Lean Manufacturing roadmap:
  • Deploy Shop Floor Management systems and lead Kaizen events
  • Champion 6S and continuous improvement culture
  • Conduct MTM studies and support cost reduction initiatives
Partner with senior leadership on:
  • Supply chain strategy aligned with corporate goals
  • Cost analysis for productivity improvements and new products
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance reporting
What We're Looking For

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Deep expertise in SIOP, supply chain management, production planning, and lean manufacturing
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication, coating, or electrical cabinet assembly or relevant strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
  • Proven leadership in a matrix manufacturing environment
  • Up to 10% travel
Preferred:
  • APICS/ASCM certification
