Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Operations: MIG welders operate MIG welding machines to join metal components, ensuring strong and durable bonds.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the configuration and specifications of the welding project.
• Equipment Setup: MIG setup and calibrate welding equipment, adjusting gas flow, voltage, and wire feed speed as needed for different materials and thicknesses.
• Material Preparation: The welders prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning to ensure a secure and clean bond before welding.
• Quality Inspection: After welding, they inspect the finished welds for quality, ensuring they meet required specifications and are free from defects.
• Maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of welding equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety is also part of their duties.
