Freeman Enclosure Systems is seeking motivated Baffle Assemblers to join us. This position involves assembling prefabricated metal panels and structures made from mild steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum using both welding (GMAW/MIG) and bolt‑on assembly methods. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand tools, reading measurements, and following detailed instructions in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Assemble metal panels and structural components using MIG welding methods
• Perform tack and stitch welding using GMAW/MIG processes
• Utilize hand and air tools including drills, grinders, cutting wheels, wrenches, and clamps
• Accurately read and interpret a tape measure (tape test required)
• Follow written and verbal work instructions to complete assemblies safely and efficiently
• Lift, move, and maneuver metal components weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Assist in other departments and perform related duties as needed
• Support team production goals and maintain quality standards

• 1+ year of experience in a related field such as metal fabrication, welding, construction, manufacturing, or assembly preferred
• Trade school education or completion of a welding/construction program is a plus
• Blueprint reading experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

• This position involves working in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cold, and occasionally working at heights or in confined spaces.
