Primary Responsibilities of this position include:

• Set up and perform repetitive technical electronic test functions with the assistance of more senior technicians and the aid of written procedures and instructions.
• Align, tune and troubleshoot standard product filters.
• Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies to component level.
• Perform simple electronic assembly such as installing a component for test or soldering a tap wire on an inductor during filter alignment to bring the product to specification.
• Perform simple mechanical assembly such as installing a cover or cables to bring the product to specification.
• Perform component‑level troubleshooting and repair of RF hopping filters and subassemblies such as digital controllers and RF platforms.
• Use schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Operate Agilent/HP Network Analyzers and automated test sets.
• Perform simple continuity tests on wire harnesses per manufacturing drawings or wire charts.

Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:

• Well‑versed in the use of common RF test equipment (including calibration and troubleshooting).
• Knowledge of RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss and an advanced understanding of filter alignment and component function.
• Basic PC skills for data entry and use of test software.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits.
• Exposure to commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer.
• Effective communication with internal customers.
• Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Obtain an IPC‑610 certification.

Requirements Include:

• Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two‑year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required.
• Minimum two (2) years of RF‑related technician experience required.
• Knowledge of J‑STD‑011‑D preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed required.
• Two years or more of soldering experience preferred.
• Two years or more of related defense manufacturing experience preferred.
• IPC‑610 certification preferred.
