We have an immediate opening for the following position:

Shipping Clerk ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Prepares and keeps records of all shipping documentation, including but not limited to bill of lading reports, shipping labels, packing documentation, routing options, traffic class, and entry into ERP system

Coordinates with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory, receiving, picking and shipping needs

Communicates between departments, with carriers, and customers (as needed).Organizes the paperwork and priorities from sales, service, and manufacturing departments.

Coordinates deliveries

Communicates with carriers, brokers, and the customer directly, as needed

Maintains accurate inventory counts

Operate forklift and scissor lifts

Performs other duties as assigned MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)
Mathematical skills to accurately record counts

Communication skills

Ability to pass and maintain a forklift license to load and unload material

Must be able to lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or heavier

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Full body motion is required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or heavier.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Full body motion is required TOOLS AND/OR EQUIPMENT USED:

Computer Hand Scanner Power lifts, forklifts and scissor lifts

Pallet jacks

Sawzalls, Saws, and drills
