Job Summary
Conducts daily cycle counts based on the ABC cycle counting philosophy to include root cause problem solving to address missing inventory. Utilizes SAP to adjust inventory based on results of cycle counting.
Responsibilities- Follows written and/or verbal instructions from Supervisors.
- Performs daily cycle counts.
- Conducts follow up inventory counts and location verifications on discrepancies.
- Assists in cycle count analysis and recounts.
- Assists in inventory analysis and problem solving.
- Performs special inventory related projects as needed.
- Investigates and corrects quality control issues.
- Safely operates all necessary stockroom equipment (forklift, hand truck, scale, scanner, and computer).
- Follows all aspects of Standardized Work Instructions.
- Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies (ISO
14001). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or elevate action related to safety, health, and environmental concerns. - Understands current quality policies and procedures (IATF 16949). Is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or elevate action related to product quality.
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of work experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, and pallet jack.
- Will acquire forklift license in a timely manner.
- Strong math and attention to detail skills.
- Effective multitasking assignments.
- Attendance on the job is essential.
- Can work in a team oriented environment.
- Can follow instructions, safety rules, and regulations.
- Can read and follow written and verbal directions.
- Standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands or fingers, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching with hands and arms.
May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, and fumes. Adequate hearing protection is required for 85 decibels and above.
Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated wage for candidates in Bowling Green, KY is $22.04 per hour. Final pay will depend on qualifications and experience. Employees are eligible for group health care plans (medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance), a 401(k) plan, 80 hours of vacation leave, 40 hours of personal paid absence, 12 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday, and 6 weeks of paid parental leave.
