Position Summary

Conducts daily cycle counts based on the ABC cycle counting philosophy to include root‑cause problem solving to address missing inventory. Utilizes the SAP computer system to adjust inventory based on the results of cycle counting.

Essential Duties
  • Follows written and/or verbal instructions from Supervisors.
  • Performs daily cycle counts.
  • Conducts follow‑up inventory counts and location verifications on discrepancies.
  • Assists in cycle count analysis and recounts.
  • Performs physical product movement, stock rotations, etc.
  • Conducts aisle location audits.
  • Assists in inventory analysis and problem solving.
  • Performs special inventory related projects as needed.
  • Investigates and corrects quality control issues.
  • Safely operates required stockroom equipment (forklift, hand truck, scale, scanner, and computer).
  • Performs record‑keeping duties.
  • Follows all aspects of Standardized Work Instructions.
  • Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies (ISO 14001) and is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or elevate appropriate action in regards to safety, health, and environmental concerns.
  • Understands current quality policies and procedures (IATF 16949) and is empowered to identify, stop, and communicate or elevate appropriate action in regards to product quality.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of high‑school diploma or GED.
  • Requires at least 2 years of work experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.
  • Must be able to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment, such as cherry picker, forklift, and pallet jack.
  • Must be able to acquire a forklift license in a timely manner.
  • Strong math and attention‑to‑detail skills are required.
  • Must be able to effectively multi‑task assignments.
  • Attendance on the job is essential.
  • Must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to read and follow written and verbal directions.
Physical Requirements

In performing the essential elements of this position the following physical activities are required. The activities are measured in the amount of on‑the‑job time that is spent performing these activities.

  • None – up to 1/3 – 1/3 to 2/3 – 2/3 and more.
  • Standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands or fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, reach with hands and arms, taste or smell.
  • In performing the essential elements of this position the following weight is required to be lifted or force to be exerted. These activities are measured in the amount of weight lifted or force exerted and how often.
  • None – up to 1/3 – 1/3 to 2/3 – 2/3 and more – up to 10 pounds – up to 25 pounds – up to 50 pounds – up to 100 pounds – more than 100 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: yes, no; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
Working Environmental Conditions

May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust and fumes. Adequate hearing protection is required for 85 decibels and above.

Compensation and Benefits
