Purchasing Area Leader

Job Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the activities of the purchasing department.
• Oversees the procurement of production materials and supplies.
• Reviews quotes, bids and proposals from suppliers and analyzes their performance to track supplier quality and manage development.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Post‑secondary education is preferred.
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment required.
• Stamping sourcing experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Purchasing experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years SAP experience required.

• Computer skills:
  Highly Skilled in Microsoft Excel required;
  Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Operate standard office equipment required.
