Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering initiatives focused on process improvement, cost reduction, throughput optimization, facility improvements, and operational excellence. This role will work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain leadership and will be responsible for improving manufacturing performance through Lean principles, workflow optimization, tooling design, capital projects, and manufacturing process improvements.
The ideal candidate will be highly visible within the organization, spending significant time on the production floor partnering with operations teams to improve safety, quality, throughput, labor efficiency, and manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities Manufacturing Engineering Leadership (80%)- Lead manufacturing engineering and manufacturing support activities
- Drive Lean Manufacturing implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and labor standards
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing structures
- Analyze production methods and identify efficiency improvements
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and jigs to improve throughput
- Conduct workflow studies and optimize production sequencing
- Improve material utilization and manufacturing efficiency
- Support safety initiatives and operational excellence programs
- Partner with production leadership to improve productivity and quality metrics
- Support maintenance and facility improvement initiatives
- Assist with equipment layouts, production flow improvements, and facility optimization
- Participate in capital equipment planning and implementation
- Support warehouse, production, and office layout projects
- Assist with manufacturing equipment installation and commissioning
- Partner closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness activities
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across operations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production operations, and industrial engineering principles
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience developing BOMs, routings, work instructions, and manufacturing standards
