Job DescriptionThe General Factory Helper performs day‑to‑day safe operations across the plant, assisting with feeding and stacking at machine centers, hand labor, and housekeeping. The helper supports operators in set‑up and production, ensuring product quality meets company standards.
Responsibilities- Follow all safety rules and procedures; use lock‑out/tag‑out and MSK procedures and required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Demonstrate teamwork and resolve issues professionally.
- Operate machines safely and at high quality to meet customer needs.
- Detect, prevent, and resolve quality issues, involving management as needed.
- Read tape measures, job specifications, and follow written and oral directions.
- Be a self‑starter, capable of working independently or from direction.
- Add and subtract units of measurement, copy figures, and record them accurately.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions in English.
- Stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly.
- Work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends, as business conditions require.
- Delegate tasks to crew members to maximize operational efficiency.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
