We're looking for a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in driving process improvement, production efficiency, and quality across our manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineering leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, on‑site production environment and wants to make a direct, visible impact on plant performance.
You'll manage a team of manufacturing/process engineers, partner closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, and own the roadmap for continuous improvement, tooling, and automation initiatives.
What You'll Do- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, setting priorities and providing technical guidance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to boost throughput, reduce scrap, and lower costs
- Oversee process design, tooling, and equipment specifications for new and existing production lines
- Partner with Quality to resolve root‑cause issues and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Manage capital projects, including equipment installation, line launches, and process automation
- Collaborate with Production and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturing readiness and on‑time delivery
- Establish and track KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing regulations
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from an engineering and manufacturability standpoint
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Strong background in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
- Hands‑on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Proven track record managing capital projects and process/equipment improvements
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with CAD, PLM, or manufacturing systems software is a plus
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus
