Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an Industrial Engineer Intern, you’ll apply industrial engineering principles to real-world challenges and support a team focused on efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing production, labor, and process data to improve workflow, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Observe manufacturing operations and document current processes, work balance, and sequence of operations.
  • Participate in waste elimination and continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles; assist with documenting process changes and improvement ideas.
  • Assist with time studies, motion analysis, and standardized work reviews.
  • Assist manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams with technical and analytical support for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Support plant layout activities using AutoCAD.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years related experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
  • Ability to accurately document information.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD.
