** Job Details:
** As a Quality Assurance Technician 5, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* ** Conduct Inspections**:
Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of our products and plant systems to ensure everything meets our high standards.
* ** Document & Report:
** Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report your findings to management.
* ** Take Action:
** Proactively take corrective actions, when necessary, by alerting the appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products.
* ** Collaborate**:
Work closely with your team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.
* ** Additional Assignments:
** Be ready to take on any additional tasks that come your way, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
** REQUIREMENTS**:

* Education:

** High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

** Experience**:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a FSQA role preferred or other QA type experience.

** Communication

Skills:

** Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will interact with USDA and other points of contact.

** Special

Skills:

*** Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
* Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce.
* Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
* Solid math and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
* Ability to function well under stress.
* Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.
** Physical Requirements**:
Position involves heavy lifting (40 lbs. or more). May include lifting, standing, and walking for long periods of time.
