Production Manager
Looking for a leadership opportunity where you can make an impact on safety, quality, people, and production? We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our weekend manufacturing team.
This position works a Friday-Sunday weekend shift and is responsible for leading a team of 10+ employees while ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
What You'll Do- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity goals.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of production employees and team leaders.
- Keep production running smoothly while ensuring customer demand and quality expectations are met.
- Monitor departmental performance and communicate results to management.
- Build positive employee relations and help resolve workplace issues through effective problem-solving.
- Support attendance, performance, and other company policies consistently and fairly.
- Maintain a strong safety culture through inspections, incident investigations, and employee engagement.
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities across the department.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve production standards, processes, and time-allocation requirements.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees and achieve results through others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to measure performance against established goals and standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to meet production and business needs.
An Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
