Job Description

• Oversee and lead a team of 15 employees within a heavy aluminum drilling and tapping machine shop environment
• Manage hands‑on training, equipment set‑up, and quality assurance processes to ensure operational excellence
• Direct safety programs, production planning, and scheduling of manpower and materials to meet business objectives
• Serve as the primary floor‑present resource for troubleshooting, resolving technical questions, and driving operational efficiency
• Champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality standards

Key Requirements

• BS degree preferred
• Strong hands‑on machine shop experience with a floor‑present, engaged leadership style
• Proficiency in core machining operations including drilling, tapping, and cutting processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage production workflows, and solve technical challenges in real time
