Position Summary

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machinery to manufacture precision components that meet customer and engineering specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Load raw materials and components into machines and properly secure fixtures and tooling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and production runs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Make minor machine adjustments and tool offsets as needed during production.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, excessive tool wear, and quality concerns.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Accurately document production counts, inspections, and related manufacturing data.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machining processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable work history and strong attendance record.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Fast-paced production setting.
• Overtime may be required based on production demands.

1st Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

2nd Shift

Monday-Friday 3:25 PM - 11:55 PM

Overtime available as needed.

$19.00 - $21.70 per hour

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and shift assignment.
