Operations & Scrap Management:
Direct scrap blending and melting processes to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production volumes according to demand forecasts.
Process Optimization &

Innovation: Optimize yield and reduce energy consumption using Lean/Six Sigma principles. Champion advanced technology adoption like AI/ML for predictive maintenance, digital twins, and robotics.
Safety & Sustainability:
Cultivate a strong safety-first culture and drive facility decarbonization, emissions compliance, and circular economy practices.
Cost & Budget Control:
Adhere to operational budgets, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and monitor raw material usage against MBP targets through variance analysis.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor production supervisors and operators while managing labor relations in partnership with HR.
Cross-Departmental

Collaboration:

Serve as a central liaison between Procurement, LMF-VTD, Caster, and Refractory teams to optimize shop-wide throughput.
Key Performance Indicators You'll Drive:
Production Volume &

Schedule:

Liquid steel tons (LST), plan vs. target adherence, operating rates, and on-time delivery.
Yield & Efficiency:
Overall yield (raw material to finished product), specific process yields (EAF, LF, Caster, Refractory), and throughput (Tons/Hour).
Cost & Asset Management:
Cost per ton of steel produced and capacity utilization rate
