Quality Inspector

Overview

Consider joining the Pennex family as a Quality Inspector I at our Leetonia, OH location. The Quality Inspector Iis  responsible for conducting thorough inspections of aluminum extrusions and fabricated components, identifying deviations from specifications, and implementing corrective actions. Keen attention to detail, understanding of industry standards, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will contribute to maintaining the highest levels of quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares Tensile Samples using Oliver & band saws and drill press
• Performs Tensile tests using Tinius Olsen equipment
• Documentstest results using Document Manager system
• Createsmaterial certifications using spreadsheet form(s)
• Prepares samples for Flare testing and folding tests
• Performs flare and folding tests using Tinius and hydraulic press
• Documents test results by photographic means
• Creates material certifications using spreadsheet form(s)
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of related quality experience and/or training

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
• Consistentlyexhibitsa positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  
  Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsor ships are not available
• Regular attendance required
